Sonic security review
Sonic is the EVM-compatible successor to Fantom, built for sub-second finality. Hackerbane audits Sonic Solidity contracts with attention to what fast blocks do to time-locks, oracle heartbeats, and liquidation windows.
What we review
The contracts look like Ethereum; the clock does not. A two-block delay that was conservative on mainnet is a blink on Sonic. Price-feed heartbeats and liquidation windows need numbers derived from this chain, and we verify each one.
- Solidity vaults, routers, and upgrades.
- Time and block assumptions carried over from Ethereum or Fantom.
- Bridges off Sonic and their finality model.
- Liquidation bots and signers built for fast block times.
Migrated from Fantom
Migrations carry assumptions with them. We treat every block-delay and heartbeat value from the Fantom deployment as a claim to test against Sonic's actual block production.
